Somewhat like the Hitchhiker's Guide, but more rural. Think of the little maps you get to "explore San Francisco." They give you a slight insight to local areas, places to stay away from and casually advise you not to wear prominently blue or red clothing in either the Mission or the Tenderloin. Solid advice.
